The 7th Meeting of the Governing Body of the Tiger Reserve Foundations was chaired at the Assam Administrative Staff College, Khanapara. The Tiger Conservation Foundation, established under Section 38X of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972, plays a crucial role in tiger conservation efforts. During the meeting, discussions focused on strategies and initiatives aimed at enhancing the management and conservation of tiger reserves in Assam. The session was attended by Hon’ble MLAs Shri Phanidhar Talukdar, Shri Ajoy Kumar Roy, PCCF & HoFF Shri Sandeep Kumar, IFS, PCCF (WL) Shri Vinay Gupta, IFS, and other distinguished members of the governing body.
